Think of what he was up against to become Prime Minister:

- An extremely wealthy Merchant Banker (somewhere below parking wardens and tow truck drivers in the public perception).

- He made his money via currency speculation (One of the rotten pillars of Casino Capitalism)

Yet he has such a "guy next door" charm, conveys confidence and assuredness and is hugely popular. You wouldnt think he could have been a mercenary parasite at all.

Thank Christ Helen Clark has gone .. leaving us with the worst child murder stats in the world. That's due to a social welfare system that doles out benefits to everyone with no accountability. So many Kiwis are now on the gravy train that nobody has the guts to stop it. Far Left ideology prevails. You can be a domestic terrorist (gang member), have multiple convictions and still get paid welfare benefits. The state pays children to have babies. National's too centrist to break the cycle.
