This is part 4 of my scraping-the-Myford-series.
It's about the table being scraped in, with the bed of the videos part #1 and #2 as a master.
I'll show you two pitfalls to avoid when you are doing similar work.
This video isn't as noisy as the ones with the BIAX running. :-)

  • I think I have shown that in part1. With a straight edge, measure the wear in the bed. Then decide wether that is too much scraping for you. 0.1 mm isn't too terrible.

  • How can you tell if the machine bed can be brought back to limits just by scraping?

    How do you determine if it needs regrinding first, then scraping?
