  • History will remember RHCP as one of the greatest bands of all time.... History will remember Mr. Bungle... well it won't. And in the big scheme of things that's all that matters. They may have been different and creative but all they achieved is a creative little trivia question of "what happened to the lead singer of faith no more?"

  • @lobworm3, in the grand scheme of things, music and art (for the most part) lacks any sort of artistic integrity whatsoever. It's the hidden corners of the musical universe where true music and art exist. Popularity contests are for the weak minded. By the way, Patton was in Mr. Bungle years before he joined Faith No More, so he will be remembered (by people that actually have taste) as the lead singer of Mr. Bungle.

  • Patton is one of the best artists on the planet and is always creative and exciting. He has one of the broadest vocal ranges in all of music. Kiedis is a one trick pony who has pumped out the same generic shit for his entire career. Musically he is nothing compared to patton.

  • @JesusChrist4REAL, Amen to that!

  • john frusciante was in the chiliv peppers and john frusciante is more creative than anyone in mr bungle!!

  • @bobbyhurly24, if you knew anything, and I mean anything about Mr. Bungle, you wouldn't have said that. This isn't even about John or any other member of the RHCP other than that dick called Anthony Kiedis. So save it.

  • @cali243, do your homework, study up on what exactly Mike Patton has achieved during, and after Faith No More, and you wouldn't be running your mouth off like you just did. You silly, silly-silly.

  • @LexeconKiddo, it dates back to the late 80's , when both bands broke huge around the same time. I think "The Real Thing" broke a few months ahead of "Mother's Milk". Anthony saw the video for "Epic" and thought that Mike was trying to steal his dance moves and rapping style. Obviously, that was not true. But, Anthony still held this insecurity with him into the late 90's, and kicked Bungle off a bunch of festivals, giving no reason for it. Other than he's a supreme asshole.

  • @lobworm3 History will record RHCP as 'that band that had that one good record that one time'. Once I heard the Californication album, it was clear they had decided to become a parody of themselves

  • @lobworm3 Red Hot Sell Out Peppers were a pathetic poser band with a huge drug habit and ego's abound. George Clinton was responsible for ANY cool material they made. Now, they are a sober, flaccid top 40 McNuggets factory; JUST LIKE GAGA.

  • @lobworm3 No, history will remember RHCP as an 80s rock-funk band that morphed into the shittiest cookie cutter commercial band of all time.

    Get it right.

  • @lobworm3 You don't know anything about music. Red Hot Chili Peppers never did anything groundbreaking. Mr. Bungle did. They took a million different genres and played them throughout entire songs. I still see them being mentioned today even after their disbandment in 2003 and being compared to modern bands trying to mimic their style.

  • @lobworm3 uh, well, first there was bungle. THEN, faith no more. from there, he's made ALL SORTS of projects. tomahawk, fantomas, peeping tom, and several more that i continue to find out about. he also does music for several movies and video games. he does wat he wants, how he wants. which is why most people couldnt keep up with him if they tried....

  • @lobworm3

    I hope you are kidding

  • I don't know exactly what had happened but the fact that they insulted the memory of Hillel Slovak is unforgiven....It doesn't matter if they were better which I don't believe but what they did was completely offensive..........

  • @lobworm3 fuck you!!!

  • Faith no More opened for the chilis in the 80's, that's were Patton could have started stealing Anthony's moves if he even did. I love RHCP but Anthony did make a mistake kicking Patton and co of festivals even if he started the fight.

But that doesn't mater now. They seem to be over their problems as Patton and RHCP both played together at Rock in Rio last year.

Anthony and Patton seemed to have stopped their fighting, can't everyone else making stupid comments also?
