seriously this is the greatest final ever have any of u even seen bjorn borg and macinroe the guy at 1:47 is right
-
it was only the best match in terms of drama. not quality of play.
-
The greatest tennis player of all time beaten by the greatest tennis player of all time.
-
how it cant be the best in history. The show of extreme will by two greatest players of all time, the highest quality any one could imagine. And like in great stories of the past god played his part(the light! may be it would have been different if it continued the other day). And this creepy guy thinks otherwise.......we couldnt care less

This could have been the greatest match purely by the quality of tennis played. But it is great also because there was a story.
It was the world number 1 vs world number 2. Both miles ahead than the rest.
It was the King of Clay vs the King of Grass. Previously they both tried to dethrone each other many times, but without success. 2006 to 2008, they both played each other in the finals of the French Open and Wimbledon.
Then finally the King of Clay dethroned the King of Grass in 2008.

If for example a tennis final reach a tie breaker for every set for a whole 5 sets with a duration of..let's say 6 hours BUT if both players are unpopular then it won't really matter that much would it? Skip was obviously a bigger fan of either Borg or McEnroe than of Federer &/or Nadal. Skip Bayless or even others may have a point about the 1980 wimbledon but in this era, it would be impossible to change the decisions of the fans of the Fed/Nadal rivalry. Correct me on this one.

skip bayless is the guy on the right...he's always been an asshole.

Who the fucks the guy in the grey? He needs to fuck off because he clearly has no idea what the fuck he's talking about.. dumbass.
this was the greatest final of all time, the tennis was out of this world, it was technically perfect by both players. Greatest rivalry in sport, this guy clearly doesnt like tennis if said that it didn't get him excited or emotionally charged. Theres nothing wrong with keeping it ice cool on court, if you blow up on court you give th advantage to your opponent. Hes one of these people who always says 'it was better in my day'. he can't take the fact that the final moved tennis to the next level

This was easily the greatest of all time.
Nadal and Federer have, already, the greatest rivalry in tennis of all time. It wasn't just the tennis on display, it was also the background (as in the history between the two), and also that both were looking to make history. The fact that it went on until night added to it too.
