Whistling kettle that doesn't

I like the Wiltshire range of cookware etc. and I've always liked whistling kettles so I figured a Wiltshire Whistling Kettle would be a good product.

I'm picking this is a design flaw that prevents the kettle to whistle properly, I mean look how much steam is escaping from the sides of the lid.

When I was growing up we had a whistling kettle that was really nothing more than a lid with a hole in it. It was nothing fancy but it worked 100% of the time.
