I checked Maestro Ali-nejad as to your advise ...Sadly I did not like his reveloutionary style ....But there again I like the ghezelbash ... He does not possess the eligance with the instrument....
Mr Pournazerie 's style is unique and pleasent by any standard. Sadly you do not have the understanding of dotar if you make these premature comments..

As a Tanbour player, this is not how we the followers of Ahle-Hagh know the sound of Yarsani(=Ahle-Hagh or Kakaee) Tanbour should be. This is a Tanbour seeing it physically but not its sound which is indeed similar to the Iranian Setar. If you want getting know how Yarsani Tanbour is then I recommend you to check some of martyr Maestro Alinejad's work here via youtube. Similar muscician groups like this group use unfortunately Tabour commenrcially, or misuse Tanbour. We need authentical music.
