Seven years after the US-led invasion of Afghanistan, foreign countries continue to wrestle for influence in the country.

In some border areas like Khost province, Pakistani currency is used and the roads are built by Indian contractors.

It seems that when it comes to business, political rivalries are put aside. Dan Nolan reports.

India has already spent over $30 billion to help reduce poverty in India. Rupees 200000 crores to forgive the loans taken by farmers. India's help in Afghanistan is not even 1% of what is being spent in India to help the poor. From infrastructure to subsidies on essentials. It is a different matter that India's staggering population of over a billion that is spread evenly throughout the country is not easy to manage. Things take time. Please do read some before you opine blindly.
