I recorded this drive with my Triumph TR 6 in the year 2000 as I owned the car for one year... At that time the car was not yet restored. Camera on a tripod in the car (strapped down) and using a separate sound recorder. That damned device made me drive with one hand the large part... and the cord rattled. At some parts the speed goes up to 145 km/h. between the trees...and all the time watching out for other traffic... Still a memorable drive I wanted to share with you! The recording was made in the Netherlands near Arnhem.

Lovely car, and a great sound, beautiful to drive with the top down, with that torquey six, and long lazy gearing (I used to own a TR5).
That road is great, the part with trees in the middle - if that was in the UK, some "safety" rule would see them cut down, or painted yellow with barriers and flashing lights all over them, and speed bumps and... and....
However, we do still have many fantastic roads that the Safety Nazis have not ruined yet.

@eclecticbuzzard He's taking the better curves. It's safer since he can see down the road, less likely to lose traction.

One of the best straight 6 engines of it's time and definitely the best engine build by British Leyland. The chassis from Karmann absolutely brilliant.
