As Dominican I felt very sad and discusting in the way that the Haitians are treated from those sugar cane wouners the Vicini from Dominican Rep. and for the Cuban -American the Fanjuls families wich are the owners of all the sugar cane fields in Dominican republic and Florida and the woners of Punta Cana beach Resort.
"Haitians were not paid in cash. Children would sow the sugar cane fields for approximately 25 cents a day, and this would include pregnant women and young girls."
