  • Agreed. I'm 0+ which according to the blood type diet, is the so called carnivore. Total Bs. I grew up on the s.a.d. and mom wanted to put me on metamucil when I was 12. I apparently wasn't getting enough fiber and most likely dehyrdrated as well. The chronic back pain I had from my early 20's -30's, didn't disappear until I eliminated meat from my diet. Thnks Dr. Graham for saying it so straight to the point.

  • Thanks to Dr. Graham, my health has improved 100%

After 20 years of experimenting with various diets, and then finally finding Dr. Graham's book 2 years ago, I'm now enjoying the best health of my life.

  • I have type O+ blood, I come from the people species and I thrive on fruits and vegetables.

  • @themoviebuff101 con't...Oranges, mandarines and tangerines (which I ate lots of) gave me terrible acid reflux. Loved fried ripe plantains, never liked honeydews and cantaloupes but loved watermelon. It was the BTD that helped me to figure out which foods I was having issues with. Now that I am raw, I am very sceptical about including, say, avocado in a blended recipe! My main concern is optimal health inside and out, I wouldn't want to eat something that would be bad for me in the long run.

  • @culicomorpha Thanks for being civil! I used to be on the BTD, and it did save my life! However, I got turned off meat and now eat a raw diet (well high raw) and am doing quite well! It has cured my depression! I still avoid the OBT 'avoid' foods, since even before the BTD I was having issues with them. E.g. lentils, cabbage, most peas and beans make me weak. I get tummy-ache eating cassava or coconut. I don't know how avocado affects me, but I have been off it for so long, I have no desire for

  • @themoviebuff101 Fair enough I stand corrected. I have a type 0 friend who has improved his hypertension and loss a decent amount of weight with the BTD recently. I am not sure if he his just eating based off of the food lists or he is taking D'Adamo's supplements along with the diet. I support anyone's health improvements. However, I have a hard time believing the foods that I listed are harmful to anyone's health IN ISOLATION. We shall see with my daughter (type 0) since she eats a vegan diet.

  • @culicomorpha SORRY! BUT YOU LOST YOUR BET!!!! I live in the TROPICS!!! Please don't try to assume that you KNOW what I eat or don't eat! That is VERY irritating! If you want to be helpful (which I will gladly welcome) PLEASE jump off the judgemental bandwagon that not a few people seem to be on! Thank-you!

  • @themoviebuff101 By the way, there are numerous type A blood type people thriving on the raw vegan 80/10/10 (811rv) diet while eating copious amounts of bananas, oranges, tomatoes, honeydew, mangoes and papayas, all of which are on the avoid list for type As. Hell You could easily do the type 0 BTD as 811rv! It is pretty hard (not impossible) to do 811rv without bananas, mangoes and tomatoes... I should know I tried the type A BTD+811 (with sushi fish) for 25 days before ever fully going 811rv.

  • @themoviebuff101 So, cantaloupes, coconuts, honeydew melons, kiwi, oranges, plantains and tangerines made you sick? I bet you did not even eat more than a single one of those fruits per week prior to going on the BTD. Perhaps, it was the excessive consumption of alfalfa sprouts, aloe juice, capers, cauliflowers, cucumbers, juniper, leeks, white button mushrooms, shitake mushrooms, mustard greens, black olives, pickles, potatoes, rhubarb, taro, and yucca you were eating? NOT!

  • As a Type O, does that mean that I should disregard the Avoid foods that made me sick and eat them anyway?

  • @ErictheMormon Umm, you call this medical information , I mean it meets absolutely none of the criteria . It could best be refered to as wild speculation . I guess that applies to most fad diets though .
