Personally i do not indulge myself in Bach-Busoni pieces neither did i want to play it on the piano. I got to admit however, this one recording had just changed my view.

I encountered this song first watching Solaris and I immediately knew it was Bach. Who else can write music so deeply expressive, subtle, and dynamic?

@PhillipLWilcher Most likely the best pianist ever.

It's so easy to do "too much" with this little gem of a piece, and cross the line from sentiment to sentimentality. Lipatti never comes close to crossing that line.
