Tahir ul qadri is a Brailvi/Brailwi Sufi Pantheist

As for Tahir ul-Qadri... then the term "Qadri" is an ascription to a Major Sufi Order (Sufi Tariqa). Amongst the Brailwi belief is that the Prophet Muhumed ﷺ is alive and everywhere (they say "Haa zir, Naa zir")... and that the Prophet knows the Unseen (ilm al-Ghaib). Practicing Brailwis also believe that the Prophet ﷺ was "Noor" (light) and not a normal human. Obviously, these are wrong beliefs and they go against what it says in the Qur;an (an example of Prophet being a human is in Surah 18, Ayah 118).
Brailvis celebrate the Prophets Birthday (they call it "Eid Milad un-Nabi", or the "3rd Eid" -- but there are only 2 Eids in Islaam). And they also celebrate all the bidahs you can think off.. from "Shab-e-Baraat", and "Shab-e-Maraj", to "Yar-wi (11th)" and "Khatam" (which means 'finish', but for some reason it doesn't khatam). This is because they say "Badah Hasana" (or Good Bidah)... but in Islaam, ALL BIDAH is not permissible. The practicing individuals from amongst them also believe that the dead relatives come to their house on Thursday evenings, and so they prepare food, and read "darood" on the food. Practice of Magic is also common amongst the community (they say that "Black Magic" is haraam, but "White Magic" is allowed... but in islaam, ALL MAGIC IS HARAAM). To protect against this magic and nazar (evil eye), most of them also wear "Taweez" (talismen or good-luck protection) around their necks. These are often given to them by their religious leaders (or "Peers"). They also believe that Allah is everywhere (another wrong belief) "wihdit al wujuud" Pantheism. And they say that the Prophet ﷺ is also everywhere (Hazir Naazir). If anyone differs with them, they call everyone "Wahabi". And there is much more, but they started in India/Pakistan area... and most/all of their followers come from either Pakistan, Kashmir, India or Bangladesh. They also love their Sufi Dhikr/Zikr... and some turn the lights off and chant "Allah Hoo"... and others do this after Salah (they say "Namaz"). They believe that the Prophet ﷺ comes to visit them after the Jumah prayer, and so you will see them singing songs (they call them "Naa-at") after the Jumah Prayer. But most of the average Brailvi followers don't know what they believe.
But its best to learn your deen and to keep away from the likes of Tahir ul-Qadri. Allahu Mus'ta'aan. "Dr. Taahir-ul-Qaadree used to claim back in the day that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would visit him whist he was in the state of being awake (and not just in a dream as most deviants claim!!!). He also said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the one who told him to set up his unruly organization Minhaaj-ul-Quran !!! This claim to seeing the Prophet ﷺ seems to be something hereditary as he also claims that his father was visited by the Prophet ﷺ whilst making I'tikaaf during Layla-tul-Qadr!!! There are also many other instances of this man mentioning such nonsensical babble. This information is taken from an Urdu publication entitled 'Wahdat' 12 July 1993, issue No.3 which was printed in Manchester.
In this issue there is also a picture shown of Taahir-ul-Qaadree alongside Pakistani women without Hijaab, but I suppose that this is minor when we consider his aqeedah and Tawheed related deviations.
At one point in the past he was seen as a 'leader' of the bareilwees, but in light of the fact that nowadays that this deviant sect has itself split up into different faction - with each faction rejoicing with that which it has - this appellation no longer applies. Instead, he is now known as Sheikh-ul-Islaam by his ignorant followers, as I remember seeing in one of their pathetic newsletters!!!

May Allah save us from the likes of these 'people'. Ameen

  • Surah Azumar 39:3

Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allâh only. And those who take Auliyâ' (protectors, helpers, lords, gods) besides Him (say): "We worship them only that they may bring us near to Allâh." Verily, Allâh will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Truly, Allâh guides not him who is a liar, and a disbeliever.

  • Dua For Seeking Protection Against Shirk

Allahumma innee aAAoothu bika an oshrika bika wa-ana aAAlamu, wa-astaghfiruka lima la aAAlam.

O Allah, I take refuge in You lest I should commit shirk with You knowingly and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do unknowingly.
