The funny life in the ridiculous swiss Army. Over 3.9!!! billion swiss francs (1SFr=+/-1Dollar) each year.... for a little country without war with another country since Napoleon(!)..... and yes we lost (fightless.)

The "conscription" is a CONTRACTUAL obligation , the state has no army in the DIRECT DEMOCRACY of Switzerland, ....Now it can be that you as a peacenick dont like that, but here is what you can do in Swiss: break the contract , AKA SECEEDE , and be gobbled up by one of the European neighbours when the next war happens. .. Oh wait nobody is that stupid in Switzerland.

Yeah those were the cool moments I had in the Swiss Armed Forces. Funny thing is all such stories or moments are very short compared to the time we wasted by doing just nothing :D

You can see things like that in almost every army! These are not proffesional soldiers they are militiamen. And by the way: Swiss Army has got very good soldiers aswell. =) Air Force for example.
