  • I remember seeing Jesus heal people in this film when I was ten. I was so thrilled by it. Fourteen years later I believed in Jesus as my Savior and Lord. I get the chills when I hear this awesome song.

  • Thanks for commenting; it is appreciated.

  • Fantastic tune. Thanks for sharing it with us. I have only heard the actual film version until now.Possibly one of the best classsic film tunes ever. 10/10

  • Father,

I abandon myself into your hands; do with me what you will. Whatever you may do, I thank you: I am ready for all, I accept all. Let only your will be done in me, and in all your creatures -- I wish no more than this, O Lord.

Into your hands I commend my soul; I offer it to you with all the love of my heart, for I love you Lord, and so need to give myself, to surrender myself into your hands, without reserve, and with boundless confidence, for you are my Father.

  • I was about 12 years old in the late 90's and I've always loved the movie and this theme. I guess i'm an old soul

  • I like very much Miklos Rozsa and his theatrical film music. Miklos Rozsa was a Hungarian-born award winning composer and conductor, best known for his numerous film scores. He is considered one of the founding fathers of film music. This music from the movie '''The King of Kings'' is really amazing and especially this specific version.

  • Why does this one sound a tad bit different than the one in the movie???

  • This is great song for Jesus

  • God bless you Captain Pike. May the Force be with you.
