This is really, really, cool. Amateurish? Do you even know what Rock and Roll is? Apparently not. Give me the high energy slop any day over the rest of the slick, grooveless crap out there. AWESOME!!!
i think they are just trying to get the feel right with one another before the stadium thing.. i like this..its basic , its primal rock n roll dudes up close and personal.
thats a very good point-and i couldnt agree with you more except what i remember was the entire show was horrific....and i love the stones! any top quality band -especially these guys-should be able to play in a garage and sound amazing....so being relegated to 60 thousand seat arenas where the sound is even more thinned out is only faking it in my book..
@12camman I agree that this version is fairly sloopy: but i think the problem is more that the song is so ill suited to such an intimate setting as they are playing here: it is pretty much the definitive stadium rock song. So having them playing on a small scale at such close quarters is probably very strange for them as a band: with this song in particular they must be used to the space of a stadium stage!
i was at this show...and it sucks even more now then it did then....ive heard better versions at weddings! if wasnt for ronny wood they'd all be on the dole
@12camman you are so crazy, but even crazy people have a right to a opinion.

The guys are essentially a Bar band. The best bar band of all time. They always knew how to Rock it and make everyone dance. This is that.

@12camman Remember, this show was the second club gig warm-up before the actual tour kicked off at Soldier Field.
