SIGGRAPH 2007 Papers

SIGGRAPH 2007 will bring an estimated 25,000 computer graphics and interactive technology professionals from six continents to San Diego, California, USA for the industry's most respected technical and creative programs focusing on research, science, art, animation, gaming, interactivity, education, and the web from 5-9 August at the San Diego Convention Center.

The SIGGRAPH 2007 Papers program is the premier international forum for disseminating new scholarly work in computer graphics and interactive techniques. It presents the world's most significant achievements in the field and illuminates new directions for future investigations.

For what? Some things shown are being held down in patents for a ransom of tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars. Some if open source and free. Some you might see in the next version of photoshop, as the one paper already is.
