Sled Dogs are basically what their name entitles them to, Skates you can go on the snow with! The entire skate is the size of your boot, and they are so much fun! Now i know a lot of people are skeptic and dont want to give up their snowboards or skis, but you dont have to! Oh it happens when you start off. My brother face planted the first time he got off the lift because he had been using ski's earlier and was used to being able to lean forward. you just lean back when you start off and then you get to the point where you are really balanced, that is where you get speed.

Yeah, they're a blast! and they are if you buy a new pair.. you can get their cheapest pair for around $150. Or you can search eBay and hope you get lucky, ive gotten a pair on there for $25. its pretty awesome.

Went to the web site. Supposed to be up and going November 10th. Where I live, it is now November 18th! Still no sled dogs. I NEED MY SLED DOGS, because I have a snow dog that wants to pull me on my Sled Dogs. What I'm trying to say is... WHEN CAN I PURCHASE A PAIR???

i remember renting a pair in new york so much fun, and on my 3rd run i already went on a table and didnt fall, cant wait until the website launches in 6 weeks and im gonna buy a pair as soon as i can so i can snowboard or sled dog when i go to my local resort

i remember the name "sled dogs" from years ago, but they didnt look anything like these things in this video. these look more like ski boots with the planks cut to the length of the boot. the originals looked more like skate shoes with tiny snowboards bolted to the bottom of the soles. they were much faster too. and you could actually hockey skate on the street with them. not sure if that video exists anymore though.

While the idea of the original snow skates have fallen from the memories of people obviously older than yourself, your ski attached to a skateboard deck has now taken the term "snowskating" from the company Sled Dogs Snow Skates, who existed much longer before Ralston started making snowskate boards or whatever you call them. There is enough snow for everyone my friend.
