SNES Cannon Fodder

War has never been so much fun indeed, has the original theme song from the Amiga version went on to preach. Sensible Software take on the serious theme of warfare turned out to be one of the funniest games ever made. The conversion to Super Nintendo and Sega Megadrive were also preety good (minus the vocals from the intro). This is me using the SNES mouse to take on the first few mission. I really hated when Jools or Jops get K.I.A.! The aclliame dseuqle never made it to the 16 bit consoles. And why doenst anyone republish this for Nintendo DS!?

Excellent game, I downloaded the SNES emulator version to play it again and I'm ready to confess on here that I've been using the 'Save State' option to save my progres and keep my troops alive. Jools & Jops are f'kn 4 star generals by now. Super Smashing 'Nam tastic!

What do you mean by "couldn't even handle in-game audio"??

ALL games had 'audio' which is sound fx and/or music...with just ONE sound channel you get 1 channel of "in-game" audio. I dont understand what you mean.

If anything it was the limited MEMORY that was shared by the graphics AND

Sound chip, but even so with Paula it could load the audio and loop till the next part effieciently.
