How can there peace in the external world if one has not made peace with himself? the internal battle, the conflict we have in our own hearts and minds has to be resolved on an individual level, then maybe there could be peace in the external world! Maybe we could evolve to higher state of consciousness and maybe just maybe there would peace! wouldnt that be something!

this is so true, chiplus1. There are days where I am at war with myself - feeling like I cant go on, but then I get angry with the world and my past, and put all my energy into achiving. It becomes a struggle. Until I find peace within myself, I wont be able to move forward to create the environment for the future....
