@illustriouschin No, I did NOT see the show, you are correct. I HAVE seen Penn & Teller live, onstage, however, I wish I had the $60 I wasted on it BACK - their show was unimpressive rehashings of old tricks done by other people, repackaged with Penn's typical motor-mouthed shtick and Teller's wry circumspect silence - kind of like "the Marx Bros. do David Copperfield." This show sounds like they're trying to muscle into James Randi's turf, and again, it reeks of 'fail.'

@TheMercilessEye Must not have seen the show then because they did have marine biologists on the show and it is not just P&T doing the research they have a team of smart people that does research for each topic. :(
-
Anyone who relies on Penn & Teller as somehow being 'authorities' regarding cetacean intelligence has to have a screw loose in their own head. We're talking about a couple of sideshow hucksters here who like to perform amusing illusions for gullible audiences - not qualified marine biologists or experts in anything approaching the ability to assess intelligence in aquatic species...or species of any sort, for that matter.

SO WHAT?!?!?!?!?!

@MegaMcClarey Dolphin's only have the flaw of having to come up to breathe because some stupid mammals in the past thought it'd be good to try living in water and so dolphins eventually evolved from that and developed intelligience to compensate for the inconvenience. In conclusion thick (dumb) people always think intelligient people are stupid from my experience. Simply because they're too stupid to understand. And yeah I realise I've replied to my own comments cause thats just what I felt like

@MegaMcClarey (Continued) .... Obviously because Youtube is fashioned for idiots due to some of the comments these arseholes are giving you. "Dolphins=Dumbasses.
They swim underwater, they breath air from surface. Nuff' said." Seems some people don't know the difference between anatomy and intelligience. Physically they only function underwater. It's got nothing to do with brains. You can't think yourself to evolve for land. If it worked like that I'd think myself taller. (continuing)

@aikiboy1111111 Is that what Asperger's is? I feel I might have to analyse myself because the symptoms you describe I also get. Maybe not as severe. Sounds like a fancy word for high intelligience to have a brain function that fast. And vocally? Its physically normal to have a speed limit there. Speaking in written word is very convenient to make sure you don't miss a thing. Thank fuck we live in an age of literacy. And here's youtube giving us 500 word comment limits.... (continuing)
(and that wasn't a jab at you using wikipedia, it applies to where ever you would have read it from)

I figured that. Actually, your criticism of my video is the only one so far that was actually a reasonable criticism. I later did read, and posted in the summary, some of the original references and papers from which the wikipdeia article was written, but you're right overall. Those who did the jab for me having read from wikipedia were using the genetic fallacy in order to support their position. Thanks for posting a bit more detailed and reasonable criticism of my vid.

It's not like information he's quoting is false - I've verified a couple of things he said using the Britannica, probably the most renowned "paper" encyclopaedia. As a side note, Britannica, on average, contains more errors than Wiki.

Thanks. Practically every person commenting on this video has committed the genetic fallacy, assuming that since I quoted wikipedia in the vid, the information MUST be false. Ironically, I actually posted good references (non-wikipedia) in the video summary, but everyone seems to ignore that.
