Try not to spray plants directly, there is a real difference between "rain" and garden water
-
What is your fertilizer plan?
I water slow and long.
Weare now over 100 degrees daily so I water usually Early or evening, slow drip down the Furrows, and never "spray" your plants

Yes, Mark there is a difference we Grew Tomatoes for Income also. But since we grew for the "local" market, it was still small compared to true Commercial Pole Tomato plantings. But we still concentrate on Yield and Return of Investment

Thank you all for the Comments. I will get better with new equipment soon

The budding branch is the shoot that will create blossom, the other branches are lateral and just produce leaves. One tries to balance enough leaves for sun protection but stress energy to the Budding terminals. I remove early blossom to establish a strong Infrastructure and root system. Once that is established let the flowers bloom

What is Bud ding branch? And why removing the lowest set of flowers?
is it ok to plant differen types of tomatoes side by side

Yes, most of those varieties were hybrids and we don't save seeds. The fruit produced is genetically set by plant planted

Very interesting, growing up on a farm, where we raised over 360 acres of tomato's, I couldn't help but notice the difference in care between a garden and a farm. Your video was extremly interesting and informational.
Thanks, Mark
