  • excellent video possibly best cars ever made they revolutionised the car industry in the 60's Hey who sings the two song about cortinas

  • what's the name of the 2nd song?

  • My first car was a Mk1 cortina,circa 1977,so spoiled then,the scrapyards were full of them,body parts were easily available,you could get a runner for £50,also had a guy Winston near me,,had a Lotus Mk1 Cortina,lowered,chrome rostyles,and a louvered bonnet,plus Colnel Bogey airhorns,and a Green windscreen visor strip saying "Mr Shifter",great days!

  • i have had so many Ford Cortina death traps and very underpowered just a crap car like the Capri was i no there were some faster Cortina like my last mrk4 2.0 twin Weber? anyway it was very fast but nearly killed you at every corner.

  • My very first car was a Ford Cortina Mark 1 a 1200cc four door deluxe in maroon....my father gave it to me on my 16th birthday.....in 1977 the cortina was 13 year old at the time being a 1964 build. Memories.

  • Great vid mate, I had a Mk 1 stage 3 Lotus many years ago, sold it for a 1600E, one of my worst mistakes ever...lol

  • God!, I am amazed at the number of Cortina MK1's left in this video, just goes to show they dont make them like that anymore. I had a Corsair 1500 and would love to drive one again as it was my first car. You never forget your first car for sure. Are spare parts still available?, would have thought that would be a major problem.
