This is the original Dies Irae.

"Dies irae" is a Roman liturgy's requiem for sentenced to death by fire.
The sentenced is taken out to a square and roasted to death by fire, while the priests sing the "Dies irae".

Wrong.
It is sung as requiem mass, which means for any dead person. Don't believe every nonsense told about the medieval ages.
