Final Fantasy VII Playthrough Part 62 Chocobo Breeding 101

http://awkwardpwners.com This is part 62 to my Final Fantasy VII Walkthrough / Playthrough for Sony Playstation (PSX). Part 1 to my "Chocobo Breeding" guide. In this part we begin the chocobo breeding side quest. First thing you must do is rent out all 6 stables at chocobo farm for 60,000 gil total. After that put the chocobo lure materia on someone in your party then go and catch 2 "great" chocobos. They can caught at mideel or gold saucer area. Once you catch them make sure one is male and the other is female when you move them into your stables.
Once you have that, fly north to Chocobo Sage's house to buy a lot of sylkis greens. Then at the chocobo farm feed each of your chocobos 10 sylkis greens. Afterward fly to the gold saucer and race each of them for 6 wins until they are both "A" rank.
After this fly to the bone village area to fight the dinosaur in a random battle, once you fight him, steal from him and you will get a carob nut. Once you get that carob nut fly back to chocobo farm and SAVE the game first. Now its time to breed your 2 chocobos using the carob nut, you should either get a green (mountain) or blue (river) chocobo.

my male chocobo suck is to slow,where can i find a male chocobo or improve the speed because i see that the chocobo you catch run faster than the one i get

@livepunx watch this vid more closely. You can catch "great" chocobos in the gold saucer and mideel area. Depending on the enemies that are in the chococo battle determines if they are good or not. The mideel area it needs to be the purpleish slugs, not the green. Gold saucer area, i'm not sure.

wtf...how do you get enemy away so easily i try and try but never get close to getting it...thats the one materia i want before going into the northern cave area...im getting tired of racing my gold chocobo

You just need to hold R1 and R2 to regain stamina.

Would the chocobos make a mountain type if they were both "A Rank" Wonderful Chocobos?

I'm guessing you can't get another lure later in the game... IDK where mine went
