3000 miles..?..Did they forget to put oil in it.?

Strip engine, If your building a high end strip or race engine with one task in mind you only build it for a enough durability for the task, building a street (high mileage) engine will cost you performance. wile high end race bearing dont have a long life, and highly aggressive cam will lower there life, and so on. If the car was running without oil the crank ,cam, and valves would of welded and siezed in about 2-5 mins of idle once the the asmbley lube was burned up.

@Lokivoid This was supposed to be a street engine.. the 3000 miles was one cross-country trip, so it's seen the street. We'll dig in more later.
