Wrong, try again. In the christian faith, its a bond between man and woman. In America its a legally binding contract between two people, one needs not belong to any religion to get married.

@Improbable0possible First off, Marriage is not a "right," but a sacramental bonding between a man and a women. Of course, there's a legal understanding of "marriage" as well. If gays want to have that legal bond, fine. Call it something else. "Marriage" has more meaning that that and is defined as being between one man and one woman. Gays can come up with their own term for what they want to do. Only people who actually follow the set definition deserve to belong under the definition.

@Improbable0possible I can agree with that. It was definitely wrong of her to even have that kinda photo taken.
But who are the real hypocrites? People who don't tolerate gay marriage for a moral reason, or people who don't tolerate those people who express their moral standards? All she did was say what she believed in, because she was asked. The public attempted to tarnish her reputation because they didn't like what she said. Which is more offense?
