We all hail the great Moonie ruler of Honduras, Gustavo Alvarez Martinez... wait a minute, he isn't President... and it's the constitution of 1982... and he's the ruler and... I guess this constitution is a farce... It's well-known that Alvarez was the ruler of Honduras in the mid-1980s, though many argue that in fact that job was held by John Negroponte.

How would the left react if Bush wanted to scuttle our constitutional provision limiting his number of terms?

Zelaya's a big-government statist, so it's ok. For the record, Bush grew gov't too, but he's not nearly as far to the left as Obama and Co.

Obama respects no Constitution. Not Honduras's, not America's. Watch closely, the same could happen here. Four years is a long time to create the scenario to trigger a "national emergency" All of the things the Libs accused Bush of desiring are what is in their hearts to actually do...

Someone help me understand: we won't interfere with fraudulent elections in Iran (or support the protesters being murdered), but we subvert freedom in Honduras for doing its constitutional duty?
