Pittsfield's (Vermont) Ken Hurley talks about the damage that was caused by Hurricane Irene as work continues in Vermont as residents deal with water, mud and trash. Co-workers in Vermont sent an email to say "we are in the mountains yet we are battling floods. You can watch a beautiful sunrise over the mountain and then turn around to see homes lost and tragic devastation behind you. You will walk into a field of dust only to sink knee-deep in water." There are nearly 100 Ameren Illinois workers helping Central Vermont Public Service restore power outages caused by Hurricane Irene. CVPS reimburses Ameren Illinios for the associated costs.
