I've been here almost a year now. Moving to Oberlin was the best choice I've ever made. I have no regrets at all. I have lived in cities like Reno NV, Vallejo CA, Portland OR and you couldn't pay me to go back to any of them. I am truely happy.
The Frontier is unchanged but there is another motel in town that has been recently sold and renovated. There is also an excellent Bed and Breakfast.

Has the Frontier motel been overhauled yet? It's been a while since I stayed there, but it was in desparate need. Overall, Oberlin is a very nice little town.

This video makes me feel a whole lot better about a decision I made. I just bought a house in Oberlin sight unseen to retire to. This is the kind of place I want to live in. Friendly people, low cost of living, and actual pride in the community. See you soon, Oberlin.

My parents lived in Oberlin Until like 1989. Also my Dad was a Farmer and my MoM Work at the drug store and pool.

I am going to be walking through Oberlin this Summer on my trek from one Kansas border to the other. After watching this video I am excited to see the town of Oberlin!

I have been closely connected to the Oberlin community thru our family all my life. When I was a kid I thought there was no better place on earth. My job has made it necessary for me to live elsewhere but I purchased a home in Oberlin 8 years ago and am looking forward to a time when I can be there as much as I want. Oberlin is real America!
