This mess just pops on for ONE frame and one frame only on Intellicast. We got throttled by a severe thunderstorm today, winds, but small hail and lots of rain that we didn't need! Meanwhile, out west, 2 possible tornadoes in Oklahoma right now! Anyone know what to make of this "splatter-gram?"

  • @SSArt98 - The Bedford IN area, just N/NE of this thing, got a tornado within 48 hours of this.

  • Looks like it could've been heavy moisture or possibly "virga". Sometimes radar can pick up all kinds of clutter even birds & dust but I think it's moisture not reaching the ground "virga" from the warm front that passed then.(IMHO)

Did you capture any of the radar from today here in Indiana? (5-25-2011) I wish I had a good enough PC to use a screen capture program. If you captured any of it you should post it and I/we can compare some of the storms that went through.
