Super Mario Galaxy 2 - 18480 points Slimy Spring Chimp challenge

Pretty good score on a pretty fun challenge. (My best is 19010). It's quite long, so a lot can go wrong. Even though you've got 3 mins (!), it's not enough time to get everything and you have to ignore many little things. This vid shows what to do to get 18k. I do a few silly things like miss a few coins and slimy springs (about 600pts worth), but still okay overall. Got lucky hit on the urchin at the very end without shelling it. It happens sometimes!

how did you stop? I can,t seem to control him under water and i go fast for no reason... I see you can slow down and have time to aim

@bleedingrosesinc Just hit the brakes. The shell has red lights on the back to indicate when you're braking. I'm not near my game right now, but I think it was one of the buttons on the nunchuck.

Is there something specific to unlocking this level? I currently have 113 Stars including the one from Deep Shell Well and this challenge hasn't appeared yet.
