During this scene from the Apollo 16 mission, astronaut Charles Duke drops a hammer on the lunar surface and has a tough time picking it up. To overcome the self-support of the space suit, he has to jump repeatedly in order to compress the suit's knee joint and pick up the hammer.

  • Arg i hate pricks like you. Space travel does very much have a point. Imagine the great sailors of the old times eg. capt cook, Marco polo, that guy who discovered america, what if they listened to dickheads like you.

  • Sure... They INTENTIONALLY taped a bit showing how hard it is to pick up a hammer. How about you open a book and learn something for once in your life instead of sitting in front of your monitor sucking up ridiculous conspiracy theories? Start with Andrew Chaikin's 'A Man on the Moon.' If the thousands of people involved in the space program are STILL lying (at least those who are still alive) then that has to be the biggest hoax since the Holocaust, because that didn't happen either, right?

Those guys had so much fun, I want to go to the moon some day

  • People STILL believe the moon landing was a hoax? And I thought I was stupid...

  • I need no space suit! I have my stomach! X¬D

  • @darkf1re the sad thing about space travel is that even though we know there is a perfect habitat for human recreation, it is so far away that the light or energy waves we see are millions of years old, therefor if human were able to master warp technology an be able to get to the example planet, then we would still be at a planet that is millions of years off from estimation.

  • Well, well, well, looks like another example of 'suspended animation'. That is suspended by wires. What a joke! Who can't see the fact that the dude is on wires?

  • Why just not lying down and grabing the hammer? Coz there is a rope. This is another video that proves there has been no moon landing by humans.

  • The legitimacy of your comment was immediately thrown out the window when you spelled "legitimacy", "immediately" incorrectly and improperly used the words "wrong", "your", and "spelt". Please don't correct somebody's grammar and/or spelling if English is your 4th language.
