Battlefield 1942 - How To Get Crosshair's for Machine Gun's & Sniper Rifle's

This video will show you how to get crosshairs for machine guns and sniper rifles if they do not show up on your computer. If you have Vista, and a crappy graphic card (like I do), this will guide you through on how to get the crosshairs. If you have a good graphics card, then this shouldn't be a problem for you. Also, this might not be a problem if you have XP (which would be the version of Windows at the time this game was released).

I got this game in a box-set, which included:
- Battlefield 1942
- Battlefield 1942: Road To Rome
- Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII
- Battlefield Vietnam

I got those 2 games (RTR and SWOWWII are expansion packs) at EB Games for a brand new sale price of $10!

For the past few times I've had to do this when I played the game, I have had to this technique twice to get the crosshair. It wasn't a glitch or something that was caught on camera, so you may have to do it twice to get it to work.

i have windows vista and this didn't work for me. i didn't get passes the part were u said press ctrl delete. i press escape and that part works but nothing happens when i press ctrl delete, can anyone help me. i hate not having a crosshair

You press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, which should allow you to select "Start Task Manager", which should allow to follow the remaining steps and get the crosshair.

can alt-tab but it doesnt to work, when i open the task manager it just wont return to the game :/. its SHIT

I had a similer problam to this before, pressing esc then esc again worked for me ingame.

Sense my computer's re-boot (I wiped my computer clean, not sure if thats what the correct term is). It stoped working but this worked, at first i had my doubts about this, but to my supprise, this worked absolutle perfectly.

If I'm correct, you just need to minumize and re-open.

No, i had the same problem, but i updated my graphics card and then the crosshair came back to normal. :)

1/5 for several reasons.

You didn't actually resolve the bug you have.

You made the video unprepared.

You made a 280sec video for 20sec of information.

You can get to task manager with Ctrl+Shift+Esc and not drop your camera.

Don't use camera.
