Wow, great driving. There is zero room for error - those carts are very quick.
-
Damn that was super quick. warm tires can do wonders. Looking forward to seeing all the teams this year in Nebraska
-
probably could have gone at least a full second quicker with a better driver, but cool car!
-
Nice triple/quadruple stalll...jk.
That is a fast car. We saw it at the Goodyear tire challenge this year I believe.
-
Does your huge aero package make a difference for you guys? Does it save enough time for you in the corners to be worth it for the drag? ( Saw you at mosport today. =D)

@asidrayne Most of the teams are using the GoPro HD... it is probably the most cost effective solution for in-car recording.

@ffrgtm Given that some comps have upwards of 90 cars, priority is given to the vehicles already in the queue and competing. Back-to-back runs are the norm in order to get the fastest time as one driver is only allowed 2 runs. All is fair... our team did the same.
@SeeDougRun You didn't deserve either endurance DNF in Michigan or Cali... hope to see you guys again in 2011.

'Great work' to you and the team. U of Washington alum myself. What camera are you using here. Great images.

Great Driving there. Looks like fun! I need to get my MR2 out to the autoX scene. I dont think I will have to be as quick as you tho :)
Second run established FTD, which was set at 66.1seconds.

@SeeDougRun .....on hot tires... how many teams had that advantage? I wasn't there just curious how often a car gets to do two back to back runs... doesn't seem very fair.

@ffrgtm We were not favored by anyone affiliated by FSAE. Thanks for your concern. Every team had the chance to stage immediately after the run; no advantage and completely fair.

@SeeDougRun No I actually haven't ever been to one. I know at the autocrosses I go to if you wait until all the cars have done their runs then you can run through almost back to back at the end. I was just curious is this was allowed or how you can possibly work yourself into one of these situations. Sorry not trying to imply you were favored by judges, just saying your strategy of back to back runs probably made a big difference :)

@ffrgtm: Back to back runs do make a big difference. However, our strategy of immediate staging is no different than anyone else's. It's our on track strategy that is significant.
