I don't care what anybody says. Hogan beat Bockwinkle twice for the AWA title, so his two title reigns should be recognized. Vince McMahon is a son of a bitch.

@donn409 It wasnt Vince..it was Verne Gagne..Yea Hogan won twice but both times the belt was returned to Bockwinkel 1st time was cuz Hogan threw Bockwinkel over the top rope..2nd time there was some sort of DQ. Reason Hogan never won the AWA Belt was because Verne wanted a part of Hogans earnings from Japan & Hogan refused so Hogan didnt get the belt

when the still of Stan Hansen comes up@2:45 , you can see all the wear and tear Hansen put on the belt, swinging it and smashing it against everything often!!!

Whatever is left of the AWA today should become part of the NWA now. I not only blame Vince McMahon for his greedy purposes that cost many organizations everything (including their talent) but also Verne Gagne for letting the AWA's reputation as a world caliber promotion slip away for controversal moves like strip Stan Hansen and Jerry Lawler the World title. The last Superclash card lost a lot of money and the wrestlers weren't paid. AWA should have been more than Verne's company.

@Lurvy1963 There is NOTHING left of the AWA today That Dale Gagener or whatever his name is version of the AWA is all but dead since WWE sued him cuz WWE now owns the AWA. The Reason Hanson was stripped of the title was he didnt show up & was making more money in Japan Lawler was also stripped for no showing mainly beacuse he wasnt paid for Superclash 3

@JBRAVOS The reason I called Vince a son of a bitch is because he blocked Hogan from being recognized as a two time AWA champion after the new AWA acknowledged Hogan's two wins over Bockwinkle. What's it to Vince? When he bought the AWA name he retired it. Why should he care if Hogan is recognized as a former AWA champion?
