Anno 1404 My 12k City Still in progress

This is my 12k city I have spent 4 days on it. It is still in progress, I have taken a break from it and played other games. I know it isn't that big, but I put in as many houses as I could. if you saw the population tab that said 15k, I am building a city on another island.

I placed my houses in a very awkward postition, I would have my houses going in straight rows with all of the required buildings in the very centre of them all, if you look around the internet you can find very many helpful building placers to get the most out of your city.

No question is a stupid question. The game is called Anno 1404, or Dawn of Discovery. You can purchase it on Steam or you cold purchase a retail version ut it might be hard to find as it is not very popular.
