vocally she was amazing and the pianist did an insanely good job. ^_^ but.. i don't feel that beyonce communicated a steady "image" with this. From a vocal energy stand point it felt to me like it was more than one persons view point and that said persons were dissimilar in a bizzare way.to me the first part sounded like a world weiry homeless person with a realization that the world was purely survival and found a blinding hope in that idea,& the 2nd part was like a wise middle aged mother...

She made so many runs, it became ghetto. Sorry. This is REALLY bad. Just because you can do vocal runs doesnt mean youre a fantastic singer. Because she's not.
