It depends on the horse. I find the standardbred to be extremely versatile and there are mant successful barrel racing standardbreds out there. If your horse likes it and has the speed and if he's trained right then there's definitely potential for him!

hi i know ur horse isnt pure stb but would it be possible for me to train a full stb as a barrel horse as good as ur horse is in the vid.?
