Materia=Magicite
Pres. Shinra Sr=Emperor Gestahl
Sephiroth clones=Cult of Kefka
Promised Land=Land of Espers

@SkyExplosion Many great stories throughout human history are love stories, that doesnt make them any less good. You could find the same similarities between many of the biggest plays, books whatever, they are still great. What makes the story so epic and original are other things, but i guess the likes of you will never understand that.

Think Aerith would equal Celes. She get captured by Empire Aerith gets captured by Shinra.
The first notes in Cele's theme are the same firs tnots in Aerith's theme. The hero *locke* gets seperated from party spends time with Celes and devlopes feeling for her. Same thing happens with Cloud and Aerith.
