  • Was this in June 2008? She was 64! How many people can sing like that at that age...

    I last heard her live in Oct 2008. She came here for the Singapore Sun Festival gala opening concert, and I was in the orchestra. It felt so surreal to be sharing a stage with Kiri, but she was amazing and also extremely gracious and warm.

  • Kiri is my favorite singer, period. She still sings well here, although obviously not in her prime. I still remember her from her 40's. I recall an article that described her voice as melifluous. That was it.

  • @musicyh Thank you. I am so glad she is loved in Singapore. Kiri gets so much criticism from places like the US and England, where they overpraise others like Netrebko, Jenkins and Fleming.
