William Yelverton performs his transcription of Rameau's harpsichord work - the Gavotte et Doubles (Gavotte and Six Variations) on alto guitar pitched in A. This is the first solo guitar performance of this work in it's original key.

  • Actually it's a harpsichord piece from the Nouvelle Suites de Pieces de Clavecin of 1728. WHY would anyone want to play this on the piano, when it sounds SO much better on the guitar?! Great transciption!
