  • I was surprised to see you turning wood on your lathe. I would have expected oil and sawdust to mix in ways that would make for unhappy outcomes for a Myford. Have there been problems, or is this a non-issue?

  • @TitusLivy777 I don't see a problem with this. Cast iron swarf mixed with oil is more harmful than wood shavings. I try to hold the shop vac near the work when turning wood and essential for MDF to avoid breathing the harmful dust.

  • how many kilos of metal are you using and how can you MELT that much metal at home?!

  • @compaq1275 The most I can melt in my furnace is about 5Kg. You can see the furnace in detail in my Metal Casting at Home part 9 video. I have melted more than that using just a blowtorch and container.

  • That blade guard atteachment on the table saw is neat! where did you get it or did you cast it?

  • @musicmaneman1 Its a portable saw mounted on a home made table. The guard is part of the regular saw.

  • @myfordboy Thanks!

  • narzędzia amatorskie ale ręka fachowa:)

  • @fly2000jtb The paint is what we use to paint interior wall, you may call it latex paint. Its just to seal the MDF the I use any cheap can of spray paint to give it a smoth finish, hence the metalic blue! the Bondo is good for fillets but I use decoraters filler for the small ones.

  • Thanks for all your fast answers. Here are a few more questions haha You use a emlution paint first, what is it? Like a sealer primer etc...? Over here we do have some of the things you are using. we went out and bought sodium silcate in a allready mixed liquid. we bought some sodium carbinate pure 100% from a ceramic shop over here. The blue paint was it krylon or just any kind of spray paint? The fillets we were going to use auto body putty (bondo) it is called. that is whywe are asking Thanks
