  • @ YouWantMeGot11 :

Same for me! I hate when people tell me I have one, like no shit I always get told. But it's very embarrassing. I hate it so much. Can anybody tell me how to get rid of this lisp. Mines the kind where air escapes through the side of my tongue.

  • @MissAmbee23 From your description of air going out the side, you have what is known as a lateral lisp. The biggest key to correcting it is by practicing having the air come out the front of your mouth. One tip out of our "Teaching the S Sound" book is the say your /s/ 's into a straw, that will help you start training your brain to have the airflow come out the front. If you want more tips like these you can check out our free video series or our "Teaching the S" e-book...it's only $6.

  • Ma'am what can I do to fix my lisp. My family doesn't have the time and money for treatment. It is such an embarrassment, and I just can't stand people telling me that a have a lisp. I already know! Do you have any tips that could help me kill my lisp. It would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks
