Late- yes. Penalty- should be. Dirty- no.

I grew idolizing Paul Kariya, and now as I look back at it as someone who is approaching his 20's, I'm glad I did.

that is some Mighty Duck movie i'm watching

MIGHTY DUCKS FOREVER! I am lucky enough to live 20 minutes from the pond and get to see Kariya at his best and while he was playing with Selanne, something I will NEVER Forget. Kariya will always be the captain of the Ducks.

Gary Thorne was the best announcer in any sport period. Please NBCSP(formerly VS), sign this guy to a multi-year contract, his voice fits hockey so perfectly!!

One of the most inspirational sports pieces ever to be captured on film in my opinion. To come back to the game, badly concussed - after being advised to get in the ambulance for immediate medical attention - and then to score THAT goal, in the cup finals, against one of the all time greats; is nothing short of incredible.
Paul was so far out that at 1:34 it literally looks like a dead man waking up after being juiced by the resuscitators.
Gary's call on the ice is also a perfect accompaniment.

this gives me goosebumps everytime

I don't base Steven's career off of any one particular hit. His hit on Lindros? I thought that to be clean...maybe a 2 min elbow by today's standards. I don't like this hit on Kariya, however. Three strides after you've gotten rid of the puck is too many to get laid out for me, no matter where you're looking. Not saying I like i dislike Stevens (truth be told I was too young to really remember his career that well) just disliking this hit.
@HandyAndy229 It's Gary Thorne who makes the "Off the Floor, On the board" call.
