Joes POV.

I get into my mom's car and drove Nick, Kevin, and myself to school. I know once I get there, I'll be crowded around, asking what happened, if I'm alright. I'm not really looking forward to it.

We get to school, get out of the car, and are slowly walking up to the school when Nick sees a pretty hot girl standing alone. She had curly, brown hair, about 5'5", and she looked like she was pretty athletic.

"Hey, guys, lets go talk to her. Maybe shes new or lost or something." Nick says.

"Yeah. As if you care if shes lost." Kevin mutters.

So we walk over there, and Nick turns on his charm.

"Hey there. Are you alright? You look lost, or something." He says, smiling at her.

"Uh, hi. Yeah, Im new here. Just moved here a couple days ago." The girl says.

"Here, my brothers and I will show you around, if you'd like."

"Sure, that'd be nice." She says as she moves closer to Nick.

"Great. Im Nick Jonas, these are my brothers, Joe and Kevin." Nick introduces us and kisses her hand. I roll my eyes.

The girl blushes and giggles. "I'm Alyson Stoner. Nice to meet you guys."

Nick puts her arm around the girl and walks her up to the school. Me and Kevin roll our eyes, say goodbye, and go our separate ways.

I walk into the school, and am instantly surrounded by girls.

"Joe? Joe! Are you okay? Im so sorry about what happened between you and Taylor. Joe! Come here, I can comfort you. I'll make you feel better. Joe, I was wondering, since you and taylor broke up, would you like to go out sometime? Joe, honey, Im so sorry. Aw, you must be dying inside." So many girls, so many of them either actually feeling for me, or pretending to feel bad just to get me to go out with them.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine," I muttered as I pushed through the crowd. I felt someone grab my hand and call my name. I turned around to see Taylor, staring at me with tears in her eyes. I glared at her and pulled my hand away. I was walking towards my locker when I saw a group of guys, looking like they were surrounding something. I went to check it out.

"Baby, are you okay? I know you must feel terrible about what happened. Come on, you can cry on my shoulder. Honey, I'm sorry about what happened. You wanna go talk about it? Sweetheart, come here. Come into my arms, Ill hold you till you feel better.." I heard as I pushed through the crowd to see who it was they were talking to.

In the middle of the circle was Selena. She was looking around at all the guys with shock in her eyes. I grabbed her hand and pulled her out before she could see who it was. I took her into a janitors closet and shut the door.

"AH, THANK YOU JOE!" she said as she hugged me. I wrapped my arms around her and laughed.

"Anytime. I was having the same problem. Might as well help you out too." I pulled back to look at her face. "when I saw you, you looked shocked. You looked confused or something. Why was that?" I asked.

"Well the truth is, I don't think boys like me. I dont see why they would, Im hideous. But today, when so many of them were trying to comfort me, I was confused. I was wondering why they decided now to try to be with me. I think its only because since I broke up with Rob, they think Ill feel bad enough that Ill need someone to cheer me up. They think I'll do stuff with them or something from feeling so guilty about it."

I looked at her with my mouth hanging open.

"What?" she said, looking at me a little confused.

"You think you're UGLY?" I asked.

"Yes. Why?"

"Selena. You have to be KIDDING me! Sel, the majority of the guys at this school think youre insanely gorgeous. I would know." I said.

"..You're lying."

"You dont believe me? Ill explain. You know when I hang out with you a lot? Well, the day after we hang, I always have guys coming up to me asking me stuff about you, or giving me their opinion on you. Theyll be like, Damn, Joe. Your so lucky. That Selena girl is a babe. Or, How was Selena last night? I wish she was with me. Or, That Selena Gomez is so fine. You lucky bitch. Im not even kidding, I get that all the time." I explained.

She looked at me for a little while, I could tell she was confused and surprised. She finally smiled. "Wow. Never knew. I still dont believe you though. Thanks anyways, Joe. You just made my day." She smiled at me, and then the bell rang. "Well, I gotta get going. See you." Then, she kissed me on the cheek, smiled, and left.

I shook my head, muttering about how oblivious girls are, and walked to my locker to get my stuff. When I saw someone standing there, I almost walked out of the school.
