Now in HD, Episode 24 of "MFF: On Location" for "Grand Canyon Adventure: River at Risk" delves deeper into how difficult it was to shoot with an IMAX camera for the film. Director of Photography Brad Ohlund had to manage the expensive IMAX 3D camera in one of the most difficult shooting environments on earth: The Grand Canyon. Brad and the crew were responsible for the 3D camera, which weighed over 100 lbs., and all of the equipment throughout the expedition down the treacherous Colorado River.
Starring Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Kick Kennedy, Wade Davis, Tara Davis and Shana Watahomigie. Presented by Teva and proudly supported by Kohler. Music by Dave Matthews Band.
@loko95ftp imax cameras themselves will never get smaller. The reason they are so big is because they use 70mm film..

Why don't they give good directors these cams?
Ah well, Pixar just renders stuff in endless resolutions and 3D :P we'll enjoy synthetic entertainment.

Wow another film that no one cares about; unless you are a 6 year old. This film is an exercise in abundance, look at the camera, the morons running them, the fluffy POV.
These films will no more help us understand nature than watching Laguna Beach on MTV> FU RW you are a douche-rag.
