On Trial 15 your criminal upper doesn't do the tornado thing, how how how!

Whenever i try trial 13 i execute the punch and the kick but no matter what i do he keeps blocking my criminal upper. How do i prevent him from doing that?!

At the moment I can do the combo perfectly for Trial 11 but its never as fast as that so Dan Blocks the kick each time. How do you make it faster?
