Excuse my english, for I don't know the right word to describe it, but do you make these leather "threads" you use for the stitching yourself, or buy them ready made?

@greekmath i cut my own leather lacing,.. i use artificial sinew to sew the leather,.. real sinew i can get but its more difficult to work with,.. i also have a video on how to cut lace from leather scraps

very good. this was useful indeed. and as a fellow practitioner of medieval martial arts i can appreciate the work that goes into making a brigandine or any armor for that matter. is there a vid of the finished piece? were u riveting the plates into it or braiding them in with the same method shown here? nice work, kudos.

@thx1103n the brigandine will be riveted only no stitching except on the cut edges,.. plates will be riveted on,.. still a work in progress,.. i have part 3 listed,.. part 4 will prolly be on sunday after i set the rivets,.. then the same pattern on the backside to start today prolly,.. i am close,.. yet so far,... HEHEH,.. hope to get er done shortly

@thedesertartist Yeah, I saw that and you make it seem really easy! I'll try it myself since I've only been using pre-waxed linen threads so far and it's time I evolved! Thanks for that video as well and thanks for your time answering my friend!
