harley race's heyday was a bit before my time, but i have since gone back and watched alot of his stuff, and he was awesome. i thought harley race showed so much class the night wwe did the ric flair retirement, when he went to greet ric in the ring and told him he was the greatest of all time. harley, ric, and bruno sammartino made wrestling. there were great stars in the eighties as well, macho, steamboat, and others, but those three were the kings.
I was at the Q & A session in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Hilton hotel and it was a dream come true to see greatness together and talking about the very first Starrcade and answering wrestling questions in general. I came to Charlotte on Thursday and Stayed Friday..I was only there for one day to see The Four Horsemen together..it was a dream for years I had always hoped and got to meet them..it WAS AWESOME! I have new respect for Harley Race too..he is a man of pure class and very humble.
