Great narration (key for these retrospectives) and an all around excellent job. Look forward to checking out your other videos.

IDOS allows you to play these on your ipod touch/iphone. I have a video on my profile of me playing these games on a handheld.

I was still pissed when they scrapped SQ 7

Yes, and also David Selle, who actually wrote the bulk, if not all, of the dialogue and text in Space Quest V. Reading the SQ5 hintbook actually makes it come off as being David Selle's game, but Mark Crowe pretty much took credit for it. Much like Andy Hoyos wrote and designed the bulk of Phantasmagoria, even though Roberta Williams' name got attached instead.

"You are now lying on the floor in many pieces" XD

I loved these games growing up. I played 3 - 6 as a kid but I am not sure I even beat any of them, but I loved to see the crazy jokes and worlds they came up with. Before the internet figuring out those puzzles would really have you glued to the computer.

probably the ONLY good quest game I have played :D

this is beautiful i love this game so much, learned a lot, thanks!
Scott Murphy didn't leave Sierra after SQ4! Mark Crowe left Sierra to work at Sierra owned company Dynamix and they asked Dynamix to work on SQ5 which is why Mark Crowe got the job for it (and it's called the NEXT Mutation not the LAST Mutation). And Josh Mandel designed SQ6 and during production left Sierra and Scott Murphy finished it off.
Great retrospective, but a few incorrect facts there.

Great video! points off for the Josh Mandel snub though.
